SHEET DRAINS
Geotex sheet drains are a fully-filtered prefabricated drain and collection system consisting of a three dimensional, high-flow HDPE drainage core bonded to a high quality, abrasion resistant, non-woven filter fabric. Manufactured with cost effective dimpled plastic sheets that provides effective drainage, used a protection barrier for the waterproof membrane. Being placed between the membrane it also creates a thermal insulation barrier, ideal in landscaping, basement walls, tunnel linings, landfills and road drainage used in both a vertical and horizontal drainage.
Geotex sheet drains are lightweight, easy to handle and install in difficult access conditions, require minimal trench excavation and resist loads from infill and formwork. Installed with the geotextile facing the soil and the HDPE sheet up against the wall, through innovation and technology it is replacing conventional drainage aggregate systems, removing the need of heavy equipment.
