TURF REINFORCEMENT MATS
Geotex turf reinforcement mats (TRMs) are lightweight, three dimensional erosion mats manufactured from 100% synthetic, ultraviolet (UV) stabilised materials and are completely non-degradable. Using three layer fibre technology with an enhanced stabiliser package. the weaving of the matting improves vegetation establishment and has a very high soil/root system interloc.
Offering permanent engineered solutions that provide erosion control and can assist in establishment of vegetation, but primarily provide permanent reinforcement to the soil until such a time as vegetation can be fully established. Used for applications where water flows are strong, soils are poor and vegetation is difficult to establish, where both immediate and long term erosion control are needed.
