BIAXIAL PP GEOGRIDS

Geotex Bi-Axial Polypropylene (PP) geogrids are  high-strength polypropylene strands intersecting at precise angles, during the manufacturing process these geogrids are formed through punching holes and stretching the polypropylense. Resulting in stiff monolithic geogrids with integral junctions orientated in two directions, longitudinal and transverse. Forming a grid-like structure that effectively reinforces soil, aggregates, and other materials.Geotex geogrids are designed to withstand force across two lateral directions within the ground, the apertures are shaped either rectangular or square. The combined forces from railway traffic and road make these geogrids the ideal product.By distributing loads more evenly, they minimise soil settlement, prevent lateral movement, and increase the overall strength of the structure.

Geotex geogrid composites provide high modulus reinforcement, capable of functioning in separation and filtration. Ideal in the construction of roads and other amenities over weak, low bearing subgrades, reinforcement of soils and aggregates in road pavements, railway traffic, working platforms and reinforces foundations.
