COIR LOGS
Geotex Coir Logs are an environmentally friendly alternative to hay bales and expensive rip-raps or cement stabilisation techniques. Manufactured from high strength, cured coconut fibre bound by a coir yarn netting maintaining density & shielding the structure against mechanical & hydraulic stresses. Over time it starts to degrade whilst encouraging natural revegetation for long term security & protection.
Applications include water diversion, sediment filtration, silt entrapment, erosion control and protection of spillways. Coir logs also have high usage across landscaping sector to help with garden bed retention, and prevent soil and sediment from entering stormwater drains.
