SILT CURTAINS
Geotex silt curtains are manufactured from self buoyant, durable polypropylene non woven geotextile using oil resistant, crumble-proof foam blocks. Floats are preinstalled in the pocket with a ballast chain used to balance weight and tautness installed in the bottom pocket.
Geotex floating silt curtains are used to provide a waterborne barrier around waterfront projects, primarily to contain soil particles from propagating into waterways from adjacent construction sites. Common applications for usage include Bridge, jetty or rock wall repairs, projects in close proximity to waterways, dredging and excavation.
